Note: You'll need the desktop app to access "Stream Mode." To download the desktop for laptops (PC and MacBooks), click HERE.

Accessing Stream Mode while in the desktop app is quick and easy:

  1. When you've entered a workout in the desktop app, click on the film icon in the uppermost right corner. You won't see the icon until you're in the workout.

  2. When you're about ready to start the workout, minimize Velocity.

  3. Access your streaming content provider (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc.).

  4. Queue up the sports, news, movie, or show you want to watch, and get ready to hit play on the content.

  5. Click on Velocity so it comes back up and is the top layer on your desktop.

  6. You'll want to arrange the media content player and Velocity so they line up. You may want to click on maximize on Velocity so it fills the full top layer.

  7. You can then hit play on your media content and then start the workout. In most players, you can click on the image to start and pause the video.

Pro tips:

  • If your media content screen goes black at first, just click on it again, and the media content will return. (You're enjoying some cutting-edge technology; it takes a little finessing)

  • If it is a coached workout and you don't want to listen to the coach, you can click on the speaker icon in the header bar to mute the coach.

  • If you do want to make the coach a little more prominent on the screen, click the square/rectangle under the coach video to enlarge it.
