We have learned older models (prior to 2018) have constrained processing power and memory limitations that can lead to the app crashing around 40 minutes into a workout. While we have worked hard to minimize the resource requirements to run Velocity, the older hardware configurations can struggle to keep up.

Best Practices for the iPad app:

  • Please make sure your iPad has the most recent OS

    • Settings> General> Software Updates

  • Close out of all unnecessary background apps

    • Double-click the home button> Swipe other apps up

  • Close out of the app when you finish a workout

    • The app will remember your devices an automatically reconnect when you relaunch the app
